Intro

I'm an avid scuba diver and kiteboarder and built this site because I was frustrated that there was no good way to remove the shakiness from my videos
I wanted to make a website that's easy to use where all you have to do is click a button and upload your video, and you get back a simple stabilized version.
This website uses FFmpeg and vid.stab
All files uploaded on our services are automatically removed from our servers after a few hours. Don't ask us to recover your files because we can't, once a file has been removed from our servers it can't be recovered.

How does it work?

You can read more about vid.stab above, but basically the way it works is that the algorithm identifies various squares throughout the video, and frame by frame tries to figure out which direction the video moved in. Then it uses that info to shift the video in that direction thus hopefully leaving the main focus of the video more stable. Most stabilizers just use a one pass system, which means that they only look at previous frames while stabilizing. This one uses a two-pass system which means the results are much better.
